Greetings from the Green University Library! With great pleasure, on behalf of the GUB Library, I would like to inform you that the Library in collaboration with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) has organized an Orientation program on Friday, 15 April at 11:00 am using the Zoom Platform. The program covered an informative session followed by a practical demonstration of the resources, services, facilities of the library, and how to avail of them. Around 70 participants were present at the Orientation. The program began with greetings and anchoring by Ms. RUKHSHANA PARVIN, Lecturer, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE). She then invited the respected Chair of the session DR. MOLLA SHAHADAT HOSSAIN LIPU, Chairperson & Associate Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) to deliver his valuable speech. In his speech, the Chair described the GUB Library as an advanced resources center that is indeed no less than a state of the art regarding its resources. Students require making a habit of studying and collecting books besides their lecture notes and materials. He suggested utilizing the Library, exploring its printed and e-resources, and following the ways and means to search, collect and download resources that will be shown in the session by the Deputy Librarian. Afterward, the Anchor invited the Facilitator Deputy Librarian Mr. Md. Ashiqur Rahman to conduct his session. In his session, the Facilitator presented the details of printed resources, e-resources, study facilities, rules and regulations, e-library, and so on. Later he demonstrated the process of searching and downloading e-books and articles from various publishers.
